How to DualBoot (Install) Two or More ROMS On An Android Device

Dual-boot was a term known with PCs until recently when one of the renowned XDA Developers figured out how to DualBoot two or more ROMs on an android device without loosing any data on the original ROM. This wonderful development allows you to test as many Android ROM as possible on your Android device before you eventually choose one.

Now, you don't have to flash/format your android device before you install another ROM on it. Simply DualBoot the ROM(s) on your phone and test them. If everything works fine on all the ROM(s), you may then flash the ROM on the phone and leave it permanently there!

In less than 5 minutes from now, you will learn how to DualBoot (Install) 2 ROM(s) on your Android device. Please note that this guide will only work for your Android Phone only if it's supported by DualBootPatcher Android app.

DualBootPatcherAndroid app is not developed by ArykTECH rather, it is part of the tools we at ArykTECH use often while performing servicing works on Android devices. However, if you have any question(s) about DualBootPatcherAndroid, I will be glad to help.

How to Bypass iCloud Account and Disable Find My iPhone without Password: iOS 7, 8 and 9

This trick is being used to remove / bypass iCloud and deactivate Find My iPhone feature on iPhone and iPad without password on iOS 7. It is now updated to work for iOS 7 - iOS 9.3.3 thus, if you have an iPhone or iPad running iOS 7, 7.0.1, 7.0.2, 7.0.3, 7.0.4, 7.1, 7.1.2, 7.1.4, 7.2.0, 7.2.1, all iOS 8 - 8.4 and iOS 9 - 9.3.3 version, you can now remove / bypass iCloud account and disable Find My iPhone on your iPhone or iPad without entering the password.

As for the iOS 9 - 9.3.3 and iOS 8 - 8.4, read on. Ordinarilly, the Apple Find My iPhone feature protects your iOS device from unauthorise use but, in the case that you forget the password to your own iCloud account which is already setup on the iPhone or iPad, you should not upgrade, wipe or factory reset the device otherwise, you will be locked out permanently except that you see an expert who can hack-in for you but that's illegal though.

Guides to Remove / Bypass iCloud Account and Disable Find My iPhone On iOS 8 and iOS 9

***Ensure that you read each step gradually and do as instructed.

Step #1: Jailbreak your iPhone or iPad: before you proceed with this trick, it is essential that you jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod. Since we will be modifying the system files of the device hence we will need an iOS deeper file explorer which mostly require jailbreak. A good example of such is iFile which can be downloaded from Cydia.

Step #2: Lunch Cydia: from Cydia, tap "Changes" tab at the button and then tap on "Refresh" which then loads all the available apps on Cydia Store.

Step #3: Download iFile: from Cydia, download and install iFile on your iOS device. You can use the search button on Cydia Store to search for iFile. This iFile is a shareware application which means you can use it for as long as you want and you can also purchase its pro version for access to more advanced features. But this basic version is OK for the task ahead.

Step #4: Open the Multitasking feature of the iOS device by double-clicking the Home Button and from there, close all the currently running apps.

Step #5: Lunch iFile and then, navigate to "/var/mobile/Library".

In this directory, you will find many folders. For this task, two folders are important; "Accounts" and "ConfigurationProfiles". The "Account" folder is at the top while the other folder is found a little down the list.

Step #6: Open the Accounts folder. In there, you will see three files namely;

  • Accounts3.sqlite
  • Accounts3.sqlite-shm
  • Accounts3.sqlite-wal

With these three (3) files, you can do two (2) things: (1) You can either delete these 3 files so that the iCloud account will be completely removed or (2) You can rename these three files. By renaming the files, you will be able to recover the previous iCould credentials when you rename them back.

NOTE: To delete the files, you can simply swipe from right to left on each file.

You may also delete all by using the edit button at the top, select them all and then tap on "Recycle" icon at the button.

Step #7: Now, you can come to the Liberary directory, scroll down and open "ConfigurationProfiles" folder. In it you will see "ClientTruth.plist" file, this file is usually located 2nd in the list. When you locate the "ClientTruth.plist", either delete or rename it also.

Step #8: Go back to Homescreen and then restart your iPhone or iPad.

Step #9: When you come back, open Settings >> iCloud and you will find that the iCloud account that was there is vanished! Wow!

What has happened is that the Software had created new files to replace the ones you have either renamed or deleted in previous steps so that it becomes filled with empty iCloud details.

Step #10: If you wish, you may now proceed to adding your own Apple ID / iCloud account details.

If you decide to switch to previous iCloud details, you can simply replace the new files with the deleted / renamed / edited files.

NOTE:

This tweak had been tested and proven working with iPhone 5, 5s, 6 and 6s. Even the Find My iPhone works too. Using either the new or old (deleted) iCloud account or Apple ID, you can backup your iPhone data, including photos, enable Find My iPhone anytime, check the location of the iPhone, iPad or iPod from another iPhone, iPad or PC.

Recommended:

How to Confirm that this Tweak Bypasses Apple Activation Lock

***Make sure you confirm and cross-check each step before you proceed!

Step #1. Login your Apple ID on your iPhone and access your iCloud account on the same iPhone or iPad.

Step #2. Visit iCloud.com and check the list of devices connected to your iCloud account.

You will notice that the current iPhone is listed there.

Step #3: Now, follow the instructions given above on how to Bypass Apple ID / iCloud Account and deactivate Find My iPhone.

Step #4: When you have successfully deleted the iCloud account using the hack / trick / cheat discussed above, login with another Apple ID on the iPhone / iPad / iPod.

Step #5: Wait some minutes to syncronise the account and use iCloud features on the iPhone.

Step #6: Visit iCloud.com again and login using the new Apple ID (Step #4). Check the list of the iPhone / iPad / iPod connected to the account, you will see that the iPhone is now listed there.

This confirms that the new Apple ID has replaced the previous Apple ID that was deleted / removed from the iPhone / iPad / iPod.
