According to a image on Twitter, posted by a leaker, said to be gotten from tech news outlet, Venture Beat, the back of the device is very similar to last year’s Galaxy S7 but the front marks a fairly radical departure from Samsung’s typical design. In place of the physical home button and touch-sensitive navigation buttons is a large, curved display that seemingly runs edge to edge dominates the Galaxy S8.

Reports have stated that Samsung will have a feature resembling Windows Continuum that will give the Galaxy S8 desktop PC-like functionality when plugged into an optional HDMI dock.
It will also come with it's own personal assistant, reportedly called Bixby, a new feature made possible by the company’s acquisition of Viv Labs in 2016.
This is still not certain as there hasn't been any comment from Samsung, but what do you think about the look of the S8, sound off in the comments below.
If the leaks are to be believed then this might be the Sony Xperia XA successor.
The images were leaked by Steve Hemmerstoffer via his twitter account, @OnLeak. The phone is expected to be a Sony Xperia XA successor, although the name of the smartphone is not confirmed yet.
What the alleged renders and the following 3D video reveals is that the new Xperia smartphone is blue in color and spec wise it's possible that the phone comes in at 145 x 66.8 x 7.99 mm having the 55-inchdisplay and will have USB Type C as well as a connectivity feature.
The purported renders also suggest that the will have curved sides on the back, and a flat top and bottom. There is a 3.5 mm headphone jack as well but there is no fingerprint sensor seen in the device. As per the renders, there is also a front camera and rear camera with LED flash shown at the back.
As of now, not much about the specs of the upcoming Sony Xperia smartphone is known, and we will probably have to wait for some more leaks before the picture is complete.
The Sony Xperia XA (the predecessor) has 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of inbuilt memory, 200 GB expandable storage slot, Android Marshmallow operating system, Mediatek Helio P10 64 bit octa core processor, a 2300 mAh battery promising up to two days of battery life, and a 5 inch HD display.
Italso has a 13 megapixel rear camera that is armed with Exmor RS sensor, Hybrid auto focus and 5x zoom feature. It has an 8 megapixel snapper in the front which can capture images in low light and too in wide angle . The Sony Xperia XA has FM radio, 4G connectivity and a host of sound enhancement technologies like Clear Audio+ and X Loud.
So if the renders are indeed true, it might make an interesting proposition.
Gionee M2017 had been certified in China by TENAA - the Chinese certification agency as was reported on various online sources and also was spotted on AnTuTu website.
Beyond that though, it seems that a number of images (3) of the smartphone along with details about few specs were also leaked. Not just that but it has again been discovered that once more images of the smartphone have been leaked on Weibo, the popular Chinese Social Media platform, confirming the earlier leaks.
With that being said, we should check out just what the phone is supposed to be; The Gionee M2017 is said to feature a 5.7-inch QHD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and is powered by a 1.98GHz Octa-Core Snapdrgaon 653 processor, along with Adreno 510 GPU.
What's amazing about it is the battery. The M2017 is going to be powered by a huge 7000mAh battery. It will also be powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 processor.
Gionee will chuck a 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage into the phone and it will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
For the selfie enthusiasts, the camera will have a dual rear camera setup with dual lead flash, one of the camera has 13-megapixel resolution and the second one comes with the 12-megapixel resolution. On its front it has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. Besides, the smartphone offers 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth, a MicroUSB port , WiFi and GPS.The handset measures 155.2×77.6×10.65 mm and weighs 230 grams. The smartphone listed in black colour on TENAA.
Moreover, as per reports smartphone is said to house a fingerprint scanner as well, which will be embedded in its home button.

Apple
iPad 5
Nachdem Apple mit dem iPad Mini und dem iPod Touch einen neuen Design-Weg beschritten hat, werden wir wohl die neuen Merkmale auch beim nächsten iPad (5) finden.
Hier sehen wir einen Leak einer möglichen Rückseite neben der des iPad Mini:
Das neue iPad wird nicht nur dünner werden,
sondern auch den selben schmalen Rand bekommen wie das 8 Zoll große iPad Mini.
Das folgende Bild ist allerdings kein Leak sondern eine Photomontage, die zur Veranschaulichung dienen soll.
Auf das neue iPad werden wir wohl noch einige Zeit warten müssen, nachdem Apple das aktuelle Modell mit einer 128 GB Speichervariante aufgefrischt hat. Für die Version ohne mobilen Internet werden 799 € fällig. Wer auch 3G an Board haben möchte, muss ganze 929 € auf die virtuelle Ladentheke legen.
Blackberry
Blackberry Z10
Bei RIM wurde so einiges umgekrempelt - sogar der alte Name gehört der Vergangenheit an! Alles, inklusive Firma hört jetzt nur noch auf den Namen Blackberry.
Mit dem neuen Betriebssystem OS10 wurde auch das Smartphone Blackberry Z10 präsentiert. Es ist bereits in Großbritannien und Kanada auf dem Markt und kann aufgrund von integriertem LTE, einer guten Kamera, flüssiger Performance sowie einer klaren Sprachqualität punkten. Dem stehen ein zu dunkles Display und eine schwache Akkuleistung entgegen. Das Z10 überzeugt mit zahlreichen Business Features, kann sich aber nicht mit Features für Privatanwender von der Konkurrenz absetzen. Die Optik ist und bleibt bekanntlich Geschmacksache.
Neben Sony möchte natürlich auch HTC bei den Full HD Smartphones mitmischen.

Punkten möchte HTC mit einem ganz besonderen Kamera Sensor, der aus drei 4,3 Megapixel Sensoren bestehen soll. Leider durften wir noch keinen Blick auf die Rückseite werfen.

Wem die schwarze Variante vom Nexus 4 zu langweilig ist, der darf sich vielleicht bald auf ein weißes Model freuen.
Leider wurde der weiße Look nicht wie beim iPhone komplett durchgezogen, so dass die Front weiterhin schwarz bleibt.
LG Optimus G Pro
Dass LG weiß, dass es auch Schwarz oder Weiß geht, zeigen die Koreaner beim LG Optimus G Pro:
Das 5,5 Zoll große Smartphone bietet wie das HTC One und Xperia Z ein Full HD Display. Wie bei der Konkurrenz werkelt im Inneren ein Quadcore Prozessor.
Optisch möchte das Optimus G Pro mit dem vom Nexus 4 bekannten Muster auf der Rückseite und abgerundeten Kanten aus Glas punkten.

Surface Pro
Seit dem 9. Februar ist das Microsoft Surface Pro erhältlich. Leider nur in Nordamerika. Für 128 GB werden 999 $ fällig und für 64 GB 899 $. Leider ist auch hier noch kein offizielles Release-Datum für Deutschland bekannt.
Samsung
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0
Nachdem es als Prototyp in der Öffentlichkeit aufgetaucht ist,
in einem Größenvergleich mit dem Samsung Galaxy Note 2
und in einem Provider-internen Katalog aufgenommen wurde,
durfte man Samsungs Konkurrenzprodukt zum iPad Mini auch als Dekoration im Hintergrund einer offiziellen Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE Präsentation bewundern:

Samsung GALAXY Altius
Neben zahlreichen Smartphones und Tablets scheint Samsung auch eine Smartwatch in der Entwicklung zu haben.
Jetzt sind Screenshots im Netz aufgetaucht. Diese Bilder lassen eine Auflösung von 500x500 Pixel vermuten. Die Windows Phone - ähnliche Oberfläche soll jedoch nicht auf Android basieren, sondern auf AltiusOS, welches sich noch in der Testphase befindet.

Sony Xperia Z
Das Full-HD Smartphone von Sony soll exklusiv am 21. Februar im Sony Store in Berlin verkauft werden und am 22. Februar seinen Weg in den restlichen Handel finden.
Im Moment kann es nur vorbestellt werden, wobei noch kein Release Datum angegeben wird.
Sony Xperia Z Tablet
Passend zum Xperia Z präsentiert Sony das mit 6,9 mm super dünne FullHD+ (1920 x 1200 Pixel) Xperia Z Tablet. Es wird von einem 1,5 GHz starken Quadcore-Prozessor angetrieben, dem 2 GB Arbeitsspeicher zur Verfügung stehen. Ein offizieller Marktstart ist leider hier auch noch nicht bekannt!

Ubuntu for phones
Und jetzt kommen wir zu meinem Highlight: Am 21. Februar wird Cononical sein neues mobiles Betriebssystem Ubuntu Mobile zum Download zur Verfügung stellen. Im Gegensatz zu den vergangen Ankündigungen wird neben dem Galaxy Nexus auch das Nexus 4 kompatibel sein. Also Nexus bereithalten und zum flashen bereit machen!
