Clean & Open ROM for SmartQ X7

This ROM fixes the Google Play incompatibility issue.

Ver 0.1 (based on Android4.1 V1.1)

Fixed Google Play incompatibility

Removed Chinese APK files, data files, cleared package list, cleared from update script

Changed default system language to English

Default file manager replaced with Solid Explorer Beta2

Removed Chinese DNS IP addresses

Removed Chinese PDF manual

Images file size reduced from 248MB to 166MB

I decided to replace the default ES File Explorer with Solid Explorer Beta2 which more advanced file manager.

Issues:

Solid Explorer Beta2 will close, forgot to include the data folder. Reinstall the app. Will be fixed in next version.

Installation Guide:

Note! Its recommended to wipe the data on device before installing the ROM.

Download the compressed file and extract the image file (SmartQX7) to root of your SD card

With X& off, insert the SD card

Press and hold "Volume -" and "Power" button to boot to recovery menu

You will be prompted with "Install Untrusted Package"

Select option "Yes - Install untrusted zip" using "Volume -"

Press "Power" button to continue the installation

When installation is done it will return to recovery menu

Press "Power" to reboot. Done
