HTC's 10 Evo cannot be bought in any store on the planet, So how do you purchase it? Here's how

A little while ago, HTC launched the Bolt. The plan was  to have it as a device that was exclusive to US carrier Sprint. 

The Bolt will come to Europe apparently, but it will be under a different name; HTC 10 Evo


The Evo boasts an IP57 dust and waterproofing rating, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with panoramic selfie mode. The handset also runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

That's not all it offers as it also features the new USB-C "adaptive earphones" 

What this does is it allows you to set up a personalised audio profile. The HTC 10 Evo sends out a lone ping and creates this profile automatically. This feature is pretty useful as you can quickly recalibrate when you move from a noisy environment to a quieter one and still enjoy your music with a different audio profile.

So what's the Evo made of? 3GB of RAM and 32 gigs of expandable storage for starters, an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, fingerprint sensor, 3,200mAh battery and 16-megapixel (f/2.0) primary camera with phase detection autofocus (no UltraPixels here). All in all, a pretty powerful device, and one that looks the part too.

One of the major things the Evo has going for it is that it's visually stunning with a flat back and 5.5-inch Quad HD display.

As for buying it, well the HTC Evo will only be sold online. So no physical stores have it.

This means HTC will be relying on consumers who don't want to be tied down to contracts and want to buy the phone outright. This is uncharted territory for them, but they should be alright.

It's unknown when the Evo would be available for sale, but we do have our fingers crossed that it's soon.
