Flash Tool for Xperia: How to Flash Sony Xperia Android Devices Using Flash Tool for Xperia

Flash Tool for Xperia is another tool you can use to download and flash stock firmware straight to your Sony Xperia Android devices. Though, the method for flashing stock firmware on Sony Xperia Android devices using Flash Tool for Xperia is similar to the method using (SONY) Flash Tool, it is not exactly the same.

In this tutorial, I explain the step by step guides with illustrations on how to flash stock firmware on Sony Xperia devices using Flash Tool for Xperia android devices.

NOTE:

  • 1. This tutorial is aimed at Windows PC Users only.
  • 2. This tools works with ONLY few Sony Xperia devices.
  • 3. Flash Tool for Xperia is still in beta mode therefore, some errors are bound to occur.

Must Read:

Step #5. Connect a compatible USB Cable to your PC and then connect your SONY Xperia to the other end of the USB Cable while holding the flash key.

NOTE: Flash Key on your SONY Xperia device is the button or combination of button you can use to enter Flash Mode on Xperia devices. The Flash Key varies from model to model. You may check here for the complete list of Xperia Flash Keys: How to Enter Flash Mode and Fastboot Mode on Xperia Devices.

NOTE: Flash Tool for Xperia ONLY displays the latest firmware for the connected Xperia model. It does not have the option to select an already downloaded firmware.

NOTE:

    1. You have to be connected to the internet throughout the operation.

    2. Your Xperia device must remain connected to the PC until the operation is complete.

    3. You must have a stable power supply/good power backup throught the operation.

    4. Your Xperia device must be at the least, 50% battery charged.

Step #8. When the flashing operation is complete, Flash Tool for Xperia will notify you and your phone will reboot. You may now disconnect your phone from the PC.

NOTE: First boot (after flashing) may take up to 20 minutes to complete.

Download TODO EN FRP Unlocker to Remove/Bypass FRP On Tecno, Infinix, HTC, Samsung, Motorola and others

Here, I am sharing with you the download link for TODO EN FRP Unlocker. TODO EN FRP Unlocker is one of the best FRP Unlocker with support for many phone models and brands. TODO EN FRP Unlocker has a very simple GUI (Graphical User Interface) with straight-forward commands to carryout its operations.

FRP has become one of the commonnest issues you will encounter with Android devices. It is now as common as flashing Android devices. Want to know why? FRP lock appears when you either flash or factory reset an android device. And to remove or bypass the FRP Lock, you need to apply special flashing procedures or use some special tools which are designed only for removing FRP Lock.

TODO EN FRP Unlocker can bypass, remove and unlock FRP lock on Tecno, Infinix, Samsung, HTC, Motorola, LG and few other models from other Android brands.

You may download TODO EN FRP Unlocker from here: TODO EN FRP Unlocker Download Link

FRP means Factory Reset Protection. Starting with Android 5.0 Lollipop, FRP Lock is triggered whenever an Android device is flashed or factory reset while there is an active Google account on the device. FRP Lock is (set by default) connected with the first Google account that is setup on the android device.

Ordinarily, you would not have to battle with FRP Unlock if you know the password to the Google account connected with the device except that there is a bug militating the communication.

SOLVED: Solution to "Error: Zero File, No Space Left On Device" Error of MTK Droid Tools

ISSUE: "ERROR: Zero File, no space left on device!" Error of MTK Droid Tools

MTK Droid Tools is one those Windows applications you can use to make / create MTK Android devices stock ROM by backing up the original ROM of a particular MTK Android device. Meanwhile, during the backup process, MTK Droid Tools usually throw an error: "Zero File, no space left on device!"

If you come across this error and imagine what the cause(s) might be, here is the reason and your possible solution.

Reason: What this error means is that there's no more space left on the device being backed up.

Question: Why do you need space on the device if you're backing it up on the PC?

Answer: During backup, MTK droid tools makes two backups; an MTK droid tools backup to the [MTK Droid Tools Folder]/backups folder on the PC and a Nandroid backup to the /clockworkmod/backup folder on the phone's SD card / Phone storage.

So, to shun the possibility of having to face this king of error, ensure that you have at the least 15 GB free on the PC, 4GB free on both SD card and Phone storage (some phones require up to 10 GB free space) which is also dependent on the volume of data you are having on the phone as at that time it is being backed up using MTK droid tools.

If the error persists then Install Busybox on the phone (it requires two installation steps) and restart both the phone and MTK droid tools.

SOLVED: Solution to "adbd not install" Error of MTK Droid Tools

ISSUE: MTK Droid Tools error "adbd not install"

The error "adbd not install" is one of the errors MTK Droid Tools throws at users sometimes. Within this page, I discuss the solution to the error.

As there are several errors you may encounter if you get to use MTK Droid Tools often and being one of the commonest tools for servicing MTK Android devices, you will get to use it often.

Must Read:

SOLUTION:

  • Exit PdaNet in system tray if it's left opened
  • Close MTK droid tools
  • Disconnect the phone from the PC
  • Download Busybox apk from here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox and install it on the phone.
  • Click to open/launch Busybox and wait for initialization to finish (100%)
  • Also from Busybox, click Install wand wait till you get a prompt saying "installation was successful"
  • Re-launch/open MTK droid tools again and connect the phone to the PC.

Alternively:

If after going through the steps above, you still encounter "adbd not install" in MTK Droid Tools, go a little further by following the steps below:

  • Download ADBD Insecure apk from here: ADBD Insecure APK Download
  • Install it on the phone and launch
  • Then, tick "Enable insecure adbd"
  • Re-launch MTK Droid Tools

Having successfully applied the steps above, you should be able to use MTK Droid Tools with the phone with adbd not install error free.
