Some Photos of Sony's purported high-end Xperia X has leaked online giving us a possible first look into what could possibly be Sony's flagship phone.
The leak came from KKJ.CN and it shows thin bezels which is not quite similar to its predecessors. The image itself states that it was taken in Oct. 3, 2016 which means that there is a gap of several months.
What the leaked photo show is the packaging of the smartphone which is not dissimilar other leaks from recent history.
The specs expected to come with the new Xperia is: 3GB of RAM with two variants carrying 32GB and 64GB internal storage.
Powering the device could be a Snapdragon 653 from Qualcomm. The screen size may still be a 5-inch design but Sony may also upgrade it to 5.5-inch to compete with others.
Speaking of the 2016 version, the Sony Xperia X will be the first non-Google smartphone to feature the Android 7.1.1 Nougat version. Sony Xperia X 2016 users can now download the Android 7.1.1 Nougat version update through the Concept Installer, 9 to 5 Google reported.
Like with every other leak, this has to be taken with a pinch of salt as there has been no official confirmation from Sony affirming or denying the leak. So stay tuned and we'll keep ypu posted on other developments that could come from this.
