As is a common practice for Windows and other smartphone manufacturers to pushing out frequent updates, it has become a common culture for smartphone users to installing each and every updates that arrive as well. While some updates fix issues plaguing previous release(s), some introduce new issues to your device. A good example is the Windows 10 build 14267 updates that rendered most Windows10 mobile devices' USB port malfunctioning as soon as Window is fully booted on the device.

Here, I discuss how to use Windows Device Recovery Tool to force a downgrade on your Windows mobile phone.
How to Downgrade your Windows Mobile Phone to An Earlier Version Build
1. Download Windows Device Recovery Tool from here and install it on your PC.2. Once the installation is complete, open/launch Windows Device Recovery Tool on your PC. Make sure your PC is connected to the internet all through this process.
3. On Windows Device Recovery Tool, click Didn't Detect and then, click Retry. Keep doing this while you proceed to the #4 step below.
4. While pressing and holding Volume Down + Power buttons, connect your Windows mobile phone to the PC.
5. After a short while, Windows Device Recovery Tool will detect your Windows phone and will begin initialization.
6. Wait patiently until the whole process is completed. Depending on your internet access source and speed, it may take up to 30 minutes or more to complete.
7. When the process is complete, your Windows phone will reboot and bravo! Welcome your phone to its previous functioning version build.
