Lumia 640 Firmware Download for RM-1109 and How to Flash it

Stock firmware are mostly needed to either upgrade your Lumia 640 or flash the phone to correct certain software issues or malfunctions on the phone. Here on this page I have contained the download link for the complete Lumia 640, for RM-1109 latest flash files/firmware which can be used to flash your Lumia 640.
Please, note that you can only flash your Lumia phone using its correct RM-Number.

Example:
Windows Lumia 640 with RM-1091 is not the same as Windows Lumia 640 with RM-1090 or RM-1092 therefore, their flash files firmware cannot be used interchangeably.
Flashing a Lumia phone using wrong RM-Number may destroy the phone.

How to Download Latest Firmware and Flash Lumia 640 with RM-1090, RM-1091 or RM-1092

1. Download Windows Device Recovery Tool from here and install it on your PC.

2. Download your Lumia 640, RM-1109 from here.

3. Move the downloaded firmware into a folder on your PC and name the folder exactly as RM-1109. This is to ensure that you are able to flash the phone using any Nokia Lumia Windows Phone service tools.

4. Now, navigate to Windows Device Recovery Tool folder on your PC.
For Windows 32bit users:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Care Suite\Windows Device Recovery Tool
and
Windows 64bit users:

C:\Program Files(86)\Microsoft Care Suite\Windows Device Recovery Tool

5. From within the Windows Device Recovery Tool folder, click on an empty space and then press Shift + Right-Click. From the options, select Open Command Window here.

6. Now, Put off your Lumia 640 or remove battery from it and re-insert the battery then, connect your Windows Mobile Phone to the PC.

7. Now, enter this command line into the command prompt:

thor2 -mode uefiflash -ffufile "C:\the location of the ffu\file name.ffu" -do_full_nvi_update -do_factory_reset
and hit the Enter Key on your keyboard.
E.g

thor2 -mode uefiflash -ffufile "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\RM-1010" -do_full_nvi_update -do_factory_reset


8. Almost immediately, Windows will detect your phone and the flashing sequence will commence. Your device will now be flashed. Once the flashing operation is complete, the device screen will flash green briefly.

9. Now, type in the command prompt:
thor2 -mode rnd -bootnormalmode

This command will reboot your phone and you may then disconnect the device from the PC and complete the proper setup from your end.
